In October 1969 Triumph presented a second version of the 2000 / 2500 saloon, restyled by Michelotti and with the same engines of the earlier versions. During the 8 years of production, four models were produced: Triumph 2000 Mk 2, Triumph 2.5 PI Mk 2, Triumph 2500TC and Triumph 2500S with power varying from 84 HP of the 2000 Mk2 to 139 HP of the 2500 TC/S Mk2. An Estate version was also available, but 12 cm shorter of then saloon version, having the rear part from the old MK1. Production numbers are: 2000 Mk2 1969–1977, 104.580 units; 2.5 PI MK2 1969–197,5 49.742 units; 2500TC 1974–1977, 32.492 units; 2500S 1975–1977prodotte 8.164 units.
